Converge Events is a leader in producing fintech and credit union technology conferences, including the CU Growth & Innovation Summit, the 7th Annual U.S. Fintech Symposium, and the Secure Finance Summit. Our events are designed to foster peer-to-peer discussions, impactful panels, and actionable insights for financial and fintech professionals.
We are looking for an ambitious and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Intern to support our team in growing sponsorship sales, boosting event registrations, and driving marketing efforts for our conferences. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop real-world skills in sales, marketing, and event management while contributing to high-profile events in a rapidly growing industry.

Responsibilities
Sales (50%)
- Identify and research potential sponsors, exhibitors, and attendees for Converge Events.
- Assist with sponsorship outreach, including drafting and sending personalized communications.
- Track and manage sponsorship and registration sales data using CRM systems or spreadsheets.
- Support sales strategy development to increase sponsorship and registration revenue.
- Assist with digital marketing campaigns to promote our events, including social media, email, and paid advertising.
- Create and schedule engaging content for LinkedIn, Twitter, and other platforms to reach target audiences.
- Support event website updates, including speaker announcements, program details, and sponsor highlights.
- Analyze marketing performance metrics and suggest improvements to optimize campaigns.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure consistent branding across all channels.
Compensation
- Hourly Pay: $15/hour

Ideal Candidate
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Sales, Business, or a related field.
- Strong interest in fintech, financial services, or event management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organized, self-driven, and comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
- Proficient in social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), email marketing tools, Google Ads and Microsoft Office.
- Previous experience in sales, marketing, or customer service is a bonus but not required.
