We’re looking for a motivated, creative Marketing & Events Assistant to support digital outreach, content development, and on-site engagement across our growing portfolio of conferences. Whether you're a recent graduate or a college junior/senior looking to gain meaningful, paid experience in marketing and events, this role offers hands-on learning with measurable results.

- Improve the event experience for attendees
- Drive early and effective registration through digital campaigns
- Build a strong content library for ongoing brand and community engagement

What You’ll Work On
📣 Digital Marketing & Content Support
- Build and schedule email campaigns using Zoho Campaigns
- Segment and maintain practitioner and sponsor lists in Zoho CRM
- Draft and edit short-form copy for emails, social posts, and speaker features
- Use Loomly to plan and schedule social content across platforms
- Assist in the setup and monitoring of Google Ads campaigns
- Track clicks, conversions, and UTM-tagged campaign links
- Review campaign performance and suggest ways to improve results
- Support live content capture at events (starting with USFS in June):
- Take photos and short videos for real-time social posting
- Collect attendee testimonials and speaker highlights
- Organize and label content in Google Drive for future use
- Create basic visual assets using Canva or branded templates
- Participate in team meetings and marketing brainstorms
- Assist with website content updates, speaker onboarding, or sponsor deliverables
- Help refine messaging to better speak to our practitioner and executive audiences
- Bring creative ideas to enhance how we engage attendees and promote events
- A recent graduate (marketing, business, comms, or related field) or current college junior/senior
- Excellent writing and organizational skills
- Reliable and proactive—able to manage multiple projects independently
- Available to work part-time or full-time with flexible hours
- Based in the Chicago area (preferred) or available to travel to Oak Brook, IL for event support (June 2–4)

- Have experience managing email or social campaigns for a student org, internship, or project
- Know your way around tools like Canva, Google Ads, or social scheduling platforms
- Are comfortable posting or filming content in real time at events
- Are curious about fintech, innovation, or executive event experiences
